"We had twenty years to prepare. So did they." Is that the tagline for the movie, or a silent judgment on who -- audience or Emmerich -- was actually more prepared for this film after two decades? I can't decide.
A lot of this film definitely takes place at or around midnight, but is it actually that special? Only Snooty and Goon have the answer! ...unless you've read another review of this film, since it's been out for a few weeks, and they're even more late to the game than usual.
